kit hated when nate was the little spoon. there were… anatomical difficulties with having this hot guy all pressed up on his junk. when he was the little spoon it was obviously never an issue.
okay, but like… he was talking about putting his mouth on some other guy’s dick. an actual dick. in his actual mouth.
yeah, but, you know. kit’s actual dick. which… sure. why not?
was it gay if he probably would suck kit’s dick?
yeah… it was probably kind of gay. bisexual, maybe.
the conversation was weird on so many levels; but it mainly boiled down the fact that sharky was treating nate like he was in denial or lying or something. he wasn’t lying. nate arched an eyebrow and lifted his hands up in a shrugging gesture.
he shook his head at sharky.
he liked being around kit. he liked it when kit was happy. that was why he made him breakfast, that was why he rubbed kit’s back until the guy fell asleep, that was why he gave him sleepy neck kisses. it was just… nice.
but sharky was trying to make it dirty. or, no, not dirty. but… make it into something that it wasn’t. so nate said,
“no. look. he hasn’t deleted all of the couple-y ones. like…” nate held up his phone as proof. “shouldn’t you delete the cuddled up ones when you’re broken up? that’s social media etiquette for exes, right? that’s a thing?”
“it’s not like gay is the only option. and he wants you. i don’t understand.”
“yeah, yeah… and that’s nice.” she didn’t look like she believed that at all. “but don’t you want to get laid?!” shayla shot him several skeptical looks. “like… i’m not a guy and as a lesbian i don’t have to know about male sex organs… but aren’t blue balls a real thing?… i mean… yikes.”
kit sighed. “and how he kind of pushes me off and goes ‘kit’” kit rolled his eyes as he exaggerated his name in nate’s usual fashion, holding out the only vowel in a long drag. “sometimes i get his neck.” he smirked, adding a little mischief to his expression, hoping to change the subject.
shayla stared at him, undeterred.
“okay,” kit sighed after dani strong-armed him and nate into helping her decorate the winter tree. “but if this thing winds up looking like a tragedy, don’t say i didn’t warn you.”
