why couldn’t he stop talking? there was some kind of disconnect between his brain and his mouth that wouldn’t allow kit to just shut. up.

but he was nervous – seeing nate was actually making him nervous – and whenever he got nervous he turned into a blabbering spaz. nate should have been giving him that dumbstruck and confused look that he’d delivered the first day that they’d met. instead,  he was doing that whole charming smile thing. and yeah… that… that was not helping the babbling one bit.
